No. 305 of the newspaper “Waqa'i al-ettefagiyyeh” in1273 A.H. has mentioned an icon of Imam Ali (AS) that has been created during his reign from his blessed face by a Christian painter and has been transferred from the treasury of the previous monarchs to the treasury of the Nasserite dynasty. The main question of the current research has been whether such an icon exists. The sub-questions have related to how that icon is, who the treasury of the previous monarchs is, and how the icon of the decoration by Sani al-Mulk is. The most important goal then has been to find the icon of the treasury of the previous monarchs. Therefore, an attempt has been made to explore it among the icons of the Nasserite period by using the inductive method and using the three processes of description, evaluation, and analysis. In this way, the research is based on the hypothesis that the icon of the treasures of the previous monarchs has been documented in the “Royal Jewelry Document Booklet” of the Nasserite period at Documentation Center of the “Malek National Library and Museum Institution”. The results of the study show that if accurate age measurement of the icon of “Takyeh Dowlat”, which is now kept in the treasury of the “Astan Quds Razavi Museum”, shows its life longer than the Nasserite period, then this icon has related to the Royal Jewelry Document Booklet. However, if the accurate age measurement of the icon of “Takyeh Dowlat” determines its life around the Nasserite period, then this icon has been the work of “Sani al-Mulk”, and the icon of the treasures of the previous monarchs has been exactly similar to it in terms of dimensions, technique, form, and content.
